Gifts Pre-K program utilizes the most current and successful methods of learning such as Fast ForWord®, the Orton-Gillingham approach to reading and a Language Based curriculum.
The integration of technology, a low student to teacher ratio (5:1) and a fun, nurturing environment ensures your child’s academic growth and development.
A thematic approach is used for all areas of learning and includes an emphasis on language development and pre-reading/reading skills as well as math, science, social studies, fine arts, and health & safety. Instruction is provided by a certified teacher and a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who have been trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach for reading.
Specific goals for children with speech and language delay can be integrated into the curriculum along with direct intervention provided by a Speech-Language Pathologist.
At Gifts your child will have fun planting gardens, participating in puppet shows, baking yummy treats and many more exciting activities. Your child will also help take care of very special classroom pets – turtles and a fish!
